Detailed Information About Our Fruit Machines

Get high-quality and affordable fruit peeling and splitting machines at Pre-Pack Machinery. All our machines are easy to use and give you higher production. The fruit machines we supply adjust automatically to fruits and vegetables that are 2 inches to 10 inches in height and 2 inches by 11.5 inches in diameter.

The machine specifications for our commercial fruit peeler are as follows:

Yes, the commercial fruit peeler is very simple to clean. It can be cleaned with hot water, chlorinated water, and standard cleaners used for fresh cut equipment. You should clean it as required, with daily cleanings as a minimum.

Only stainless steel and Delrin are used in the construction.

For our fruit, melon, and butternut squash peelers, we never use mild steel or painted parts.

The noise from the butternut squash or melon peeler is minimal. The majority of the noise is air exhausting through air mufflers, which again, is minimal.

You don't need protective equipment to operate the commercial fruit peeler.

Questions

A small conveyor to catch and convey the peelings is recommended. There is also room below the peeling area to use a waste receptacle (trash can) for simplicity. Filled waste receptacles can be exchanged with empty receptacles as-required. It does not take long to generate a lot of peelings.

All Peeler parts are stocked and available for same day shipping. A recommended spare parts list is available.

Daily: Ensure that the lubricator is full and the drip rate is adjusted properly; air filter should be checked and drained if necessary and the cutting head assembly should be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, and check fasteners for tightness.

 
Replace cutting blade if necessary.

Round; Oblong, Pear-shaped. *Fruit does not need to be truly round*. Because the cutting head follows the contour of the fruit: The fruit can be quite a bit out-of-round and still be peeled quite well. For severely out of round fruit: The Peeler should be operated at one of the slower (7) pre-set speeds. Very round fruit can be peeled at faster speeds.

Based on information from current users: Yield on honey dew and cantaloupe varies between 50% and 65%. This variation is due to different size (count) melons, rind thickness and uniformity, size of seed cavity and peeling depth set by the user

Up to 6 cantaloupes, honey dew, or pineapples, per minute. Highest throughput is achieved when the fruit is presented to the operator in a way that makes it easy for them to reach the product and load the Peeler. The placing of the peeled melons should also be conveniently located, as well.
