Peeled Butternut Squash has become very popular, not just a fall and winter staple anymore. Needing a fast, safe, and reliable machine to split peeled Squash, our customers asked for a peeled Squash Splitter. We listened and delivered!

Peeled Squash are not only quite slippery but are very dangerous to cut with a knife.   The Splitter can split peeled butternut with a length of up to 15”, and a bulb diameter of 8”.

Our Fruit Peeler has been designed to feed the Butternut Squash into the Splitter. After the peeling cycle, the Operator can “knock” off the peeled squash directly into the Splitter. The Splitter will automatically split the peeled squash and discharge the pieces. The split pieces are then ready for the next processing steps.

For those processors that peel large quantities of butternut squash prior to splitting, the peeled squash can be hand fed quite simply into the Splitter at the rate of 20 peeled Butternut per minute.

The new Butternut Squash Splitter from Pre-Pack Machinery is the perfect complement to our Fruit Peeler and new Dually Butternut Squash Peeler, offering high-speed produce splitting with no employee exposure.

Your operation will benefit from both eliminating personnel and enhanced safety when this high-risk task is removed from the manual production area. The peeled produce enters the Splitter automatically and ejects at table top / conveyor height - split and ready for coring. Call us today!
